​​​​Treatment Resources for Youth, Inc. (TRY) is designed to help  youth and their families who are at risk for drug use, crime and violence, and academic failure deal with the many challenges that come with adolescence and young adulthood in Baltimore, MD.

TRY is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1973. The Department of Health and Mental Hygiene of the State of Maryland has certified Treatment Resources for Youth as an outpatient, drug-free substance abuse treatment center.

 At TRY, our team of professionals is committed to providing multi-cultural, evidence-based education, counseling and support services. We serve youth ages 11 – 20.  (If age 18 or older, enrollment in an education program is preferred) 

Individual, family and group counseling is offered. Treatment plans are personalized with specific and mutually agreed treatment goals. Family involvement is an important part of the program and is strongly encouraged.

 Medical Assistance and private insurance is accepted. Otherwise, services are self-pay.  An affordable co-pay is due at the initial visit. Future co-payments are determined according to sliding scale
